The Chico College of Business offers interesting programs and certifications for linguists who would like to get expert knowledge in localization. The program consists of 5 stages and each of these aims at different aspects: 1) e-marketing, 2) certification, 3) industry collaboration, 4) study abroad, 5) inter-disciplinary orientation. I think that all these five stages outline a complete and comprehensive cycle of localization, seen from different points of view.

So, has the time to jump up and unveil some secrets of modern approach to leaning come? Is it true that today’s localization knowledge has nothing static in itself, but is being built by the unified contribution by the members of the training team? Is it true that localization knowledge is being born through acrtive training, discussions and inter-disciplinary approaches such as course work, e-collaboration, etc.?
